What a fun day! My glam squad (Emily Goodin: Wardrobe Stylist; Hair: Genia Church; and Makeup: Angela Folmar) started at 5am to get me ready for a sunrise shoot (on the coldest day we’ve had so far this year!) with photographer, Tausha Dickinson! Angela started on my makeup while Genia worked on my hair…and I sipped on some delicious coffee! I am naturally a morning person but no matter what, when I have Emily, Genia, and Angela with me, it is going to be a GREAT start to the day! My first look was a gown by Jonathan Kayne. It was specifically made for me when I competed in Miss Ohio back in November 2016. So automatically, this gown made me feel so special as soon as I started putting it on! Emily decided to edge it up a little bit by adding a leather jacket. We got some beautiful shots on the farm right as the sun was rising! Then we moved on to some fun, glamorous shots in a faux fur coat and tall boots. I felt like I was channeling J-Lo! And of course Lil’ Trudy ,my Boston Terrier, made an appearance too! After that, I dressed down for a cowgirl inspired look equipped with a hat and boots! Yee Haw! All the while, Tausha was getting some drone footage of our shoot which turned out super cool!

We ended the day with several lifestyle shots in my home. A red gown, a velvet blazer and some simple shirts in pretty colors were the choice outfits for lifestyle inspired photos. It was a packed day, but we got some great shots that I’ll be able to use going forward! I can’t wait to share more with you, but here’s a little sneak peak!
